Flare
Flare is my entry for olc::CodeJam2021. The theme was "The Future", and I believe I interpreted it in several ways. Firstly, it requires you to plan your actions in advance to make the best use of your time. Secondly, its futuristic looking. Thirdly, it is designed with "my" future in mind...
I am raising javidx10, and at night they can be fussy. I wanted to create a project that can be played with one arm only. Additionally, I wanted it to be visually and sonically stimulating for little people to enjoy. Also, I expect it is simple enough for little people to actually play too!

Of course, you did the best entry. I really like the main gameplay and the background music is hypnotic. All fits with the theme. A solid project which shows clearly that your engine is powerful. Great game - so addictive ++
This is so cute. I love the sound effects when you draw in the light.
I want to play well but I find myself stuck at the bottom of the game. I use the light but when I hardly could I do not continue.
I managed to move forward lol but I still have this mysterious bug which creates a black screen.
